Try Out a Kill A Watt

Kill A Watt® Now Available at the Library
How energy-efficient is your home? Maplewood is Green has donated to the Library several Kill A Watt® electricity usage monitors which can be checked out and used in your home.
To assess an appliance’s efficiency, simply connect it to a Kill A Watt®, The device will count consumption by the Killowatt-hour, the same as your local utility. You can calculate your electrical expenses by the day, week, month, even an entire year. You can also check the quality of your power by monitoring Voltage, Line Frequency, and Power Factor.
They're available at Main and Hilton Branch and circulate for two weeks.
