Maplewood resident Andrew Wasden, a 7th grade homeschooled student, read a total of 800 minutes in a month to raise money for a community project. His plan was to use the Reach for the Stars program to donate a favorite series to the Hilton Branch Library. Through sponsors who pledged a certain amount for each minute read, Andrew was able to donate 6 books in the Conspiracty 365 series to the library. Pictured above, Andrew presents the books to Jennifer Burkholder, Hilton's children's librarian.
